Susie Scarlett, age 81 of Florence, AL, formerly of Winter Park, FL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday November 23, 2024. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Shelton and brother Pat Brown.

Survivors are her husband George Thomas Scarlett of 60 years; Children, daughter Marybeth Scarlett and son Jeff Scarlett; Daughter-in-law, Tammy Scarlett ; granddaughter, Annabelle Scarlett; brothers, Mike and John Brown.

Susie was employed by SunTrust Bank for 25+ years as a bank teller and lobby receptionist, she loved her job and won numerous awards for excellence. Susie loved spending time with her family, friends, and neighbors. As an avid Florida State Seminoles fan, she loved nothing more than watching the Noles play on Saturdays. Susie was a phenomenal cook and loved to make meals for family and friends.  She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife, and very loved by everyone who knew her. Susie had a very strong faith and we look forward to seeing her again.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later time.  Williams Funeral Home of Florence assisting the family.
