Geneva Inez
Wallace
February 5, 1935 - February 20, 2025
Our dear mother Geneva Inez Wallace passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on February 20, 2025, at the young age of 90. Visitation will be Thursday at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 pm with service starting at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Y.Z. and Lella Christine Stark; brother, Charles Stark; husbands, Roland Hallman and Bill Wallace; and grandson, Michael Lee Nash.
Geneva is survived by her daughter, Shelia Sheppard (Scott); sons, Jerry Hallman (Karen), and Barry Wallace. Additional survivors include siblings, Royce Stark, Becky Hunt, Burl Stark (Carol); five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many relatives including aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
She was the mother who was always there when you needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love. Love coming in the form of a switch on numerous occasions as Shelia, Jerry, and Barry know only to well. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community of Rogersville where she worked at Barnett Drugs. There she met many wonderful people who became friends for life, and also where she met her late husband Bill Wallace.

Our love and support to you all. She was such a loving and great lady. She will be forever missed. Jamie and Debbie hunt
My wife, Megan Garcia, née Hallman and our 4 kids spent some time with Gramma Bamma at her beautiful home in Muscle Shoals. Playing football or on a water slip n’ slide in the backyard were highlights having Grandma there on the porch laughing as the kids played. Also, the line dancing in the garage with Uncle Royce and Papa Jerry cutting a rug. I’ll miss you Grandma and cherish those times. I’m happy my children were able to make such happy memories with you.
My heartfelt sympathy to all the family. Would have loved to have met Geneva. Heard a lot about her from Jerry and knowing the kind of person he is, I’m sure she was an angel. Continued prayers and all my love.
