James (Jimmy) Andrew Sinyard, 90, of Killen, passed away September 22, 2025. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 24 from 11:00 – 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will start at 1:00 pm in the chapel, officiated by Brother Paul Fox and Brother Justus Cole. The burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Anderson.
He is preceded in death by his father, Andrew Simpson Sinyard; mother, Virginia (Jenny) Sinyard; sons, Randy, Michael, and Greg Sinyard; daughter, Sherry Williams; granddaughter, Christy Shelton; and great-granddaughter, Chanda Odom. Also preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of sixty-eight years, Nellie Sinyard; children, Deborah Tidwell (Billy), Jeff Sinyard, Sharlene Holden (Lee), and Russell Sinyard. Additional survivors include twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Jimmy was a member of Emmanuel Grace Church of God.
Serving as pallbearers are Briar Sweat, Brett Sweat, Tyler, Rolin, Luke Sweat, Austin Smith, Bryce Fretwell, and Jason Schurfeld. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Pannell and Bob Belue.
The family would like to thank Hospice of North Alabama for excellent care and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. Jeremy Thompson and Brad Brown for always providing quality care! Thanks for all the prayers on our behalf.

Im so sorry to hear of Jimmy’s passing. He was such a kind man and like a father to my brother Gene growing up. Gene and Michael were friends for many years. My heart felt condolences to all the Sinyard family !!!
