Eva “Josie” Josephine Holden age 17 years, 352 days of Florence, passed away on October 18, 2025. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 1:00pm until 3:00pm. This will be visitation only. No service is planned.
She was preceded in death by a special Aunt Christie and her Great Grandfather William Butler.

Josie was a sweet loving person with a big heart and beauty that reached her soul. She passed through our lives like a comet passing across the night sky, brilliant then gone. She was small in stature but bold in her nature. Her absence will leave a giant void in the hearts of all her family and friends who shared this life and love with her.
We mourn all the adventures that she had yet to complete, and dreams left unfulfilled. Her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Josie was a senior that attended Florence High School and recently transitioned to on-line learning with the goal of completing her high school degree.

My best friend since 4th grade. I love you so much Josie, you impacted everyone’s life you entered. I promise to keep your memory alive forever, you always knew the right thing to say and i rlly wish right now you were here to talk. I will forever miss our deep conversations and our shared braincells. You were such a special person. I love you Josie, forever and ever.
Fond memories of young Josie, playing baseball in Huntsville, visiting us to Ohio and Schoolhouse Holler. You had your whole future in front of you, then you didn’t. Condolences to the Snodgrass/Beckham family.
I love you, Josie—the most precious soul. I cherish every memory from this summer and the third-grade class where we met. I wish we had more time with you. LLJH.
Jojo you are loved and special to so many. You will remain in our hearts always. I love you so much and will miss your funny, sweet, caring self.
Mike and Clara,
My heart is breaking for you on the loss of your beautiful Josie. Dana had taken a picture of her at my house when you all came to Ohio. I will remember her for her loving personality.
Sending love and prayers for peace and comfort.

The pain is unbearable and the tears neverending.
She’s an angel now and here’s a special note she’s sending.
Mom and dad you were the best way cooler than the rest.
I’ll miss my friends especially my best.
You know who you are.
Just look up for that one brightest star, that’s how you know I’m not far.
And I’ll always be in your heart so we will never be apart.
Please don’t cry or be sad, heaven’s not that bad.
I love you Mom and Dad.
Josie, the couple times I met you, i always thought to myself, that girl is just so beautiful, inside and out. You left such a mark on my life angel. I wish I go back and tell you how much I you mean to me, even as friends in passing. I love you. I wish the world showed you more love while you were here but I know father is making up for it now, showering you in love that you deserved the whole time. I love you Josie. I will never forget you.
So sorry for your loss
Prayers for her family
