Alan Wayne Weitz, age 69, of Florence passed away on December 30, 2025. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Stutts Road Church of Christ from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Bella Weitz.
Alan is survived by his wife of 10 years, Sandra Weitz. His children: Jamie Slone (Steven), Corey Weitz (Alyssa), and stepson, Tyler Rozzelle (Jessica). One sister, Gail Gross, and one brother Jeff Weitz. Seven grandchildren: Derek Weitz, Benjamin and Brianna Slone, Ethan and Eli Rozzelle, and Mylie and Lexie Motes. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Alan was born in Queens, NY and a long-time resident of the city. He enjoyed watching baseball, especially the Yankees, playing trivia with friends, telling dad jokes, spending time with friends and family on the boat, and attending Stutts Road Church of Christ. His favorite activity of all was face timing with his grandchildren.
