Lonnie Ray Pounders, age 58, of Florence, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2025.
A memorial visitation will be Thursday, December 11th from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Pounders, wife, Sylvia Ann Faulkner Pounders, sister, Cathy Marie Pounders.
Survivors are his father, Roy Hershal Pounders; children, Hailey BreeAnn Pounders (Kevin), Aubrey Lyn Pounders, Dia Ria Pounders, and Daryl Nash; siblings, Ronnie Hershal Pounders and Stacy Denise Pounders; grandchildren, Hunter Nash, River Nash, Teagan Campbell, and Talon Columbia.
Lonnie was employed with Browns Ferry as a crane operator. He loved fishing, hunting, boating, and ATV riding with his brother and dad. He was always happy, smiling, laughing, and uplifting everyone around him.

I’m so sorry about Lonnie passing, sending prayers and comfort for the family
Rest I’m paradise my sweet Daddy with Mom and your mother and so many loved ones we have lost before. I know God has prepared a special resting place for our souls but you are so greatly missed from the second of your last breath I was missing you . You were everything to me and your grandbabies we love and miss you until we see you again love your daughter Aubrey
we will miss you a good friend to all. Your personality was one of a kind. you made me laugh all the time with some silly comments you would make. We know family will miss you a lot. Prayers for all of you.
