April 28, 1944 - June 3, 2025

John “Johnny” Milton Killen, Jr., age 81, of Rogersville, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2025. Visitation will be Friday, June 6th from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Pettus officiating. Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jimmy Nelson, Mike Marston, Herschel Scott, Don Odom, Colin Ritter, and Jason Williams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Carolyn Killen; sister, Sarah Elizabeth Killen.

Survivors are his loving wife of 30 years, Shelia Killen; children, Nancy Killen, Misti Fowler (Eddie), David Killen (Crystal), Tyler Killen (Mollie); sister, Mary Kaye Garry (Kevin); grandchildren, Stephanie (Jason), Joshua (Anthony), Tucker (Alice), Mason, John Tyler, Jack Parker, Taylor, Lanie, Lucy, Abi, Lauren (Casey), Johnathan (Melissa), Jessica, and Mia Catherine; 7 great-grandchildren.

Johnny was a 1962 graduate of Coffee High School and a member of North Wood Methodist Church.  He was a 50-year member of IBEW local #852, 50-year member of Masonic Lodge and has current dual membership at Killen and Lexington Lodges and retired from TVA after 40 years of service. Johnny was a NHRA fan for many years traveling to many tracks throughout the years. He loved camping. A special thanks to the Center Well Home Health and Gentiva Hospice for their love and care.
