Kalen “KJ” Hester, age26, of Tuscumbia, passed away Monday, July 7th, 2025. Visitation will be Saturday, July 12th from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother David Byrd officiating. Burial will be at Guy Cemetery in Tuscumbia. Pallbearers will be Andy Stricklin, Dee Reaves, Andrew Morgan, DJ Peeden, Tristan Morgan, and Jody Skipworth.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bonnie Nolan.
Survivors are his mother, Brooke Hollins; father, Jody Skipworth (LaDonna); maternal grandfather, Dee Reaves; sisters, Aliaha Hollins, and Candace Hester; brothers, DJ Peeden, Tristan Morgan, Andrew Morgan, and MJ Skipworth.
KJ was a member of First Methodist Church of Tuscumbia. Special thanks to Vanderbilt Hospital nurses and staff for their love and care.

Kj sure knew how to light up a room and make ppl laugh this boy became like family to us he is gonna be missed fly high kj we love u very much!!
