Peggy Thigpen Parrish, age 76, of Florence, passed away September 10, 2025.

The visitation will be Sunday, September 14^th from 1 -2 p.m. at Williams funeral home, Florence, the service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. The burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Baptist church cemetery near Lexington. The pallbearers will be Tony Brewer, Glen Hill, Adam Nichols, Jerry Carrol and Jonathon Stevenson.

Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Lula Thigpen; sisters, Audrey Thigpen  and Helen Bunt; brothers, James and Almon Thigpen, grandchildren, Natasha Ann Wright, Heather Minor and David Green; great granddaughter Willow Mcdaniel.

She is survived by her children; Becky Hill (Glen), Troy Melton, Regina Brewer (Tony), Shelia Nichols and Jessica Francis. Brother, Harlan Thigpen and sister, Ellen Carrol.

Grandchildren; Adam Nichols, Briana Minor, Alexis Minor, Charles Wright, Brandy Wright, Bradley Wright, Dustin Green, Destiny Green and Dusty Nichols. Great grandchildren; Kailey Stevenson, Gracie Stevenson and Jaiden Lee Minor.

Mrs. Parrish loved spending time with her grand dog, “Dusty” and watching Alabama football.
