Charles Lindon Wray, 88, of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away February 28, 2026. A graveside funeral will be held Friday, March 6 – 11:00 am at Grassy Cemetery. Friend and fellow veteran, Brother Carlos Casteel will be officiating.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Louise Wray; and daughter, Donna Wray Mix. Brother, Bobby Wray, sisters Dean Newborn, Brenda Hill, and Linda Wray.
Charles is survived by his stepson, Ricky Cochran (Jackie); son, James Dornacker (Janet) sister, Joyce Cook; grandchildren, Desiree Shouse, Ryan Mix (Robin), Destiny Couter (John), Ricky Cochran II, Crystal Kresch (Mark); great-grandchildren, Kera Cochran, Hunter Cochran, Eva Mix, Ellie Mix, Peyton Kresch, Mason Kresch, and Robbie Couter.
Charles retired from Murray as a machinist and was a United States Army Veteran. He enjoyed restoring automobiles and was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank Compassus Hospice and caregiver, Caity Hovater.
