Eric Kent Angel, 62, of Florence, passed away March 20, 2026. Visitation will be Monday, March 23 at Williams Funeral Home from 11:00 – 1:00 pm. The funeral will start at 1:00 pm in the chapel with Pastor Doug Jackson officiating and burial immediately following in Wesley Chapel.
He was preceded in death by his brother Roger Angel; parents, Roy and Bobbie Sue Angel.
Eric is survived by his wife, Lisa Angel; children, Carson Threet (Jared) and Tyler Angel (Lindsey).
Pallbearers are Tyler Angel, Jared Threet, Mark Angel, Daniel Bates, Shaun Campbell, Seth Campbell, Nick Gist, and Robb Young.
The family wants to acknowledge and thank NAMC – CVICU, CCU, and Palliative Care doctors, nurses, and staff for not only the knowledgeable and professional care given to Eric, but for the love and compassion shown by each and every one of them.

I was so sorry to hear of this. I want to extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to Eric’s family. I had the pleasure of working with him at Comcast for several years. Eric was a good supervisor to his Tech team and always helped our Customer Service team, without hesitation, if we had CS concerns that involved service issues.
Carson, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I’m sorry we weren’t there to show support. Tell your mom that I’m sorry for her loss. Prayers for your family.

I graduated with Eric from Central high school and we were good friends. I’m so sorry for your loss. I really enjoyed the time that I had the opportunity to spend with him.
