Eric Lee Taylor, age 54, of Forest Mississippi passed away on Saturday, April 11th, 2026. A potluck memorial will be held on Saturday, May 2nd 2026 at Immanuel Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas starting at 3:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to bring a dish and share memories.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Taylor and father Charlie Taylor; sisters Wanda Caple, Billie Miller; nephew, Tyler Williams Evans, and one baby girl cousin, Cameron Rae Porter

Survivors include his children; Dewayne Knight (Annie), Jason Knight, Jessica Knight, Lacie George, brothers and sisters; DeWayne Taylor( Marsha), Anna Sullivan (Doug), Erica Evans (Joe); grandchildren, Gracie Knight, Jessie Knight, Raiden Knight, Rhett Knight, Ryver Knight,  CJ Reeme, Allen Cole, George Griffith, Harlynn Massey, Daxton George and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

He had a true passion for racing and loved the excitement it brought to his life. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, bowling, riding motorcycles, playing poker, and spending a little time gardening.

He will be remembered for the simple joys he found in life and the time he shared with family and friends.
