Grace Darby Riedel, 80, of Florence, passed away May 9, 2026. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, from 11:30 – 1:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home with funeral immediately following officiated by Pastor Chad Hess. Burial to follow at Greenview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Riedel is preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-two years, John Louis Riedel; parents, Billie-Jo and Harold Darby; in-laws, Irene and Louis Riedel; sister, Barbara Darby Ashcraft; great- granddaughter, Virginia Ruth Hellmann.

Survivors include her beloved sons, John Blair Riedel (Julie) and Harold Parrish Riedel (Susan); grandchildren, Hudson Riedel (Anna), Virginia Riedel Hellmann (Jack), Julia Riedel and Ella Grace Riedel; great-granddaughter, Mary Charles Hellmann.

Mrs. Riedel was an active member of Woodmont Baptist Church and the Pairs and Spares Sunday school class. Grace was a retired nurse and loved serving others. She was a graduate of Coffee High School.

Serving as pallbearers are Hudson Riedel, Jack Hellmann, Trey Starkey, Owen Lilly III, David Armstrong, Mike Mashburn and Kevin McDaniel.
