William "Eric"

William “Eric” Grissom, age 55, of Tuscumbia, Alabama, passed away on June 20, 2026. Services were held private.
He is preceded in death by his mother Florence Virgina Grissom. His father Robert Wesley Grissom. His sister Alica Mae Grissom and his baby brother, Robbie Grissom.
Eric is survived by his wife Melissa Grissom. Five children: Britney Grissom, Destiny Grissom, Marissa Grissom, Nathan Grissom, and Breanna Griffin. His big brother Eugene Goforth. Three grandchildren: Kaylee Mason, Wesley Mason, Rae Lynn Kimbrell.
He loved his chickens and took pleasure in going out in the yard with them every day. He was a devoted husband, father, and a friend to many. Eric will always love his family, friends, and will continue to watch over us.
The family would like to express a special thank you to all who cared for Eric. He was and will always be an amazing man.
