Janet Ann Harrison, 78, of Florence, Alabama, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2026.

Janet was a steadfast supporter of Central School and the Central Heights community, where she served for several years as a board member of the Central High School Athletic Booster Club. Her dedication, generosity, and commitment to supporting students and athletics left a lasting impact on countless families throughout the community.

Janet is survived by her loving husband, Jack Harrison; her sons, Ryan Harrison and Brad Harrison; her daughter-in-law, Cindy Harrison; her grandchildren, Drew Harrison, Murphy Harrison (Alissa), Lana Beth Walker (Chet), and Jackson Harrison (Logan); and her great-grandchildren, Eliza Jane Walker and Waylon Harrison.

She will be remembered for her love of family, her infectious laughter, and the kindness and encouragement she shared with everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on through the family she treasured and the community she so faithfully served.

In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family respectfully requests that memorial donations be made to the Central Athletic Booster Club in Janet’s honor, continuing her lifelong commitment to supporting the students and athletic programs of Central School.

Janet’s family is deeply grateful for the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered. In keeping with Janet’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no funeral or memorial service will be held.
