Jason Charles Yaeger, 48, of Leighton, passed away July 24, 2026. A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, July 29 – 6:30 pm at Hatton Baptist Church.

Jason is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marie Yaeger.  Survivors include his sisters, Brenda Ticer Brewer (Barry) and Melanie Lamar Love (David).

Jason was a proud graduate of Colbert County High School and an active member of Hatton Baptist Church. He had a passion for music and entertainment, especially karaoke, where he enjoyed both participating and serving as a DJ.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Hatton Baptist Church, Tony and Renee South, and the dedicated staff at UAB for their care, support, and kindness. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial donation to Hatton Baptist Church in honor of Jason.
