Mary Margaret Matychowiak, of Florence, Alabama passed away August 18, 2026.

Mary was born in Washington state to John and Margaret Crowell.
Mary was preceded in death by her ex husband, Stanley and her sister Shirley.
She is survived by her children, John Matychowiak and wife Virginia of Killen, Alabama; Denise Bolognino and husband Stefano of New York, New York;  grandchild Kayla Sysco and husband Vincent and greatgrandchildren Valen and Valor of Guin, Alabama.

She was passionate about her church community and love of God and devoted time to cat rescue and environmental causes.

Visitation will be held on Saturday October 17th at 11am followed by Funeral Mass at noon  then a light lunch.
