  1. I had the pleasure of sitting with Mr. James it was never a dull moment and if you got him started talking about music oh he could talk all night just listening to him talk about life in general he was an amazing man stubborn at times he would definitely tell you how he really felt but to get to know him on a personal level I can honestly say hm and his amazing family will always have a special place in my heart rest easy although I have a feeling you are having a joyous reunion with all your musician friends in heaven probably strumming on that guitar or playing on that piano one .

  2. My heart stopped for a time hearing and seeing this. I remember and treasure those long ago times when “EBO” would come over and he always had his guitar with him strumming made up songs and lyrics. I remember the day I left to join the Air Force. He drove me to Nashville and with tears in my eyes I saw him wipe a few from his. Then he came a few months later to Texas while I was in School there. Stayed a week with me. Then life took us down different paths. But oh what stories he could tell mostly about life. Goodbye my friend and as you go my love goes as well. Hope one day our paths will cross again. No other ever brought so much happiness than you. You were honest and sincere and a good man. Say hello to the gang for me.
