Susan Neubauer Sutton, age 87, of Killen, Alabama, passed away September 14, 2026. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Lowell Leon Sutton; parents, Vernon and Esther Neubauer; sister, Judy Piskos; and grandchild, Spencer Lowell Sutton.

Susan is survived by three sons, Lowell Scott Sutton (Robin), Stacy Lee Sutton (Tracie), and Michael Allen Sutton (Jamie); sister, Anna Marie Stohs; numerous grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

She was a graduate of Barnes Jewish School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri, and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. She was an RN nursing supervisor in Louisville, Kentucky and Florence, Alabama as well as TVA. ย She found joy in tending to her flowers, gardening, and relaxing by her pool.

  2. To the family of Ms Susan: she was an amazing person to know. Although I only knew her for 4 + years I will cherish my memories of her. Ms Susan shared beautiful memories of her children and grandchildren. She truly loved them.
