Charles Cottles, age 94 of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Visitation will be Saturday, October 24^nd, from 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial with full military honors accorded. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Burns and Beulah Cottles; wife, Elaine Cottles; daughter, Jennifer Cottles; sister, Lorell Richardson.

Survivors are his son, Jeff Cottles; grandchildren, Beth Ann Dawson (Roy); Jessica Hensley, and Dylan Cottles (Abby); great-grandchildren, Braylan and Emmarie Hensley, Daryl Ann Dawson, Marshall and Gatlin Cottles.

Charles was  a family man and loved his children and grandchildren. He was retired with Hendrix Glass and was a U.S. Army Veteran, was an avid gardener with lots of pride in his yard and garden. He loved having his fish dinners once a week.
