Services will be Sunday, February 8, 2026 with visitation from 1-3 at Williams Funeral Home with funeral following. Burial will be at Rhodesville FWB Church Cemetery 20501 Co Rd 14 Florence AL 35633.

Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Almon and Wilmoth Goodwin; her brother, Tommy Goodwin; her daughter, Beverly Bird; and her granddaughter, Leah Bird.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Wayne Gean; her brothers Ed Goodwin (JoAnn) and Mike Goodwin (Lila). Her children, Lisa Jones (Mike), Chris Bevis (Machelle) and 3 bonus children Wendy Whitten (Dennis West), Kyle Gean (Ashley) and Kirby Gean (SueEllen). Her cherished grandchildren, Levi Bird (Claudia), Kodie Bird, Breanna Goodall (Ray), Casey Hodges (Bri), Fallyn Bulman (Dustin), Zane Bevis (Harleigh) and 7 bonus grandchildren Kaleb Whitten (Rhea), Harlee George (Dakota), Lillie Hinton (Landon), Sawyer Gean, Sadie Gean, Ellablake Gean, and Bowen Gean. She also leaves behind her treasured great-grandchildren, Jay Hodges, Kenzie Myers, Valentina Bird, Tanner Goodall, Kelsie Myers, Rainey Hodges, soon to be born, Wyatt Bulman, Hazel Grace George, Teddy George, Dallas Whitten and Drake Whitten, all who will forever be part of her legacy.

Jane will be remembered for her love of family and the quiet strength and care she gave so freely to those she loved. She especially cherished the companionship of her loyal dog, Toby, who was always by her side. Jane’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Pallbearers will be Mike Goodwin, Levi Bird, Zane Bevis, Dustin Bulman, Kaleb Whitten, Kyle Gean and Kirby Gean.
