Rayford Arnold Ticer, age 71, of Florence, Alabama, passed away on April 23, 2026, due to an extended illness. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 30, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M.  Services will follow in the Chapel at 2:00 P.M. with Brother Ronnie Pannell. officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Sherrod Valley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Arnold and Betty Ticer.  And his brother Steve Ticer.

Rayford is survived by two daughters, Lorie Condrey (Tommy) and Lindsey Balentine (Brandon). One sister, Angie Haddock (Stacey). One grandson, John Thomas Condrey.  Two granddaughters, Sophie and Libby Balentine. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Better known as Bubby to family but in later years became Bubba to friends. He always enjoyed his horses but especially loved sharing his knowledge of his horses with others. Furthermore, he enjoyed spending time with his friends at local restaurants and neighbors at Montreat. Finally, the family would like to express gratitude to Dr. Felix Morris and all the ICU nurses at NAMC for their loving care at such a difficult time.
