Michael David Grigsby, 76, of Killen, passed away April 28, 2026. Visitation will be Friday, May 1 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. The service will start at 2:00 pm in the chapel with Christopher Behel and Makenzie Hunt officiating. Entombment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers are Barry Phillips, Chance Hunt, Bubba Stockton, John Trousdale, Darwin McDonald, and Tommy Patrick. Honorary pallbearers are Joe Hodges and Barry Handback.
He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Grigsby; mother, Flora Keeton Grigsby; and brother, Virgil Grigsby, Jr. (Boots).
Michael is survived by his loving wife, Linda Smith Grigsby; daughter, Tosha Phillips (Barry); grandchildren, Christopher Behel (Krislyn), Makenzie Hunt (Chance), Hannah Phillips (Doug), Griffin Phillips (Marleigh), Jared Phillips; great-grandchildren, Buddy Behel, Joshua Hunt, Daisy Behel, John-Luke Delong, and Hudson Phillips.
Michael retired from TVA after 32 years of dedicated service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, and archery. A member of Atlas Church of Christ, he was also a talented musician and artist. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and practiced taxidermy, reflecting his deep appreciation for nature.
In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Covenant Christian School Library, or True Gospel Pentecostal Church. The family would like to thank Helen Keller Hospital, Huntsville Hospital, Dr. Peter Johnson, Dr. Lyman Mitchell, and Dr. Shaff Holden.
