David Lee “Spider” Faulkner, age 72, of Killen, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026. Visitation will be on Sunday, April 12th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ray and Christine Faulkner.
Survivors are his daughter, Robin Faulkner (Andrew Johnston); loving life partner, Mary Sutherland; son, Christopher Sutherland; brother, Jimmy Faulkner and Barry Faulkner (Patricia); nephew, John Faulkner; niece, Hannah Wayland, wonderful cousins, and several friends.
David retired with TVA as an electrician and was a member of Local #558 Electricians Local. He loved gardening, nature, fishing and cooking for family and friends.

So sad to hear one of my bonus “stepdads” passed away. One of my favorite memories was Spider making ribs for my wedding reception more than 25 years ago. I’m sure he and daddy J.B. are having a grand ole time together in heaven.
