Kenneth Earl Brewer Jr. (Kenny), age 56, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. Visitation will be Saturday, June 20th, from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 pm at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Kenny was born on September 28, 1969, in Florence, Alabama to Kenneth Earl Brewer Sr. and Wanda Brewer. He graduated from Bradshaw High School, where he excelled in both basketball and baseball. His love of baseball continued with coaching little league. He later graduated from Athens State University and went on to have a successful career in contract management.

Kenny was married to the love of his life, Kay. Together they raised two children, Kelly and Kendrick, whom he adored. One of Kenny’s greatest joys was being a Pawpaw to Brewer, who brought endless happiness to his life.

He loved cooking for his family, barbecuing, and fishing. He enjoyed watching college football, basketball, NFL football and NASCAR. He especially enjoyed spending time by the firepit with his chickens. Above all else, he loved his family.

Kenny was preceded in death by his grandparents Owen and Doris King and Clarence and Velma Brewer.

  1. I am so sorry for your loss. My last long conversation that I had with him at work he talked about how everything he did to take care of himself was for his grandson so I know you were all very loved.
