Jerry Franklin Lang, age76, of Iron City, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 27th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be on Friday, August 28th at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Brother Michael Darling officiating. Burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Beulah Lang; sister, Linda Foster; father and mother-in-law, Bobby Ray and Era Mae Smith; sister-in-law, Dale Murphy; nephew, Little Tim Purser.
Survivors are his loving wife of 54 years, Patsy Lang; children, Cristy Sunshine Frasier (Lonnie), Jeremiah Lang (Natshiela), Matt Lang (Jessica), Bruce Lang, and Amanda Brown (Brandon); brothers, Paul Lang, Timmy Purser, Doug Malone, and Larry Smith; sisters, Gail Lang, Bobbie Sue Smith, Debbie Malone, Diane Purser, Dana Lang, and Carol Smith; 11 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Jerry was born on February 27, 1950, to Carl Lang and Beulah Frasier Lang and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Collinwood, Tennessee. He was a Vietnam veteran and served the country he loved with honor, loyalty and integrity. Jerry loved the Lord Jesus with all his heart and throughout his life demonstrated his love and faith to others.
He served in 101St Airborne, Civil Defense, Rescue Squad, National Guard in Sheffield, Alabama and was a member of American Legion in Collinwood. Memorials may be made to the Lang family.
