  1. As I sit here to compose how to say goodbye to you tears roll down my face. Knowing that no matter what I do, say, or write you are never coming back. There are really no words to describe how I’m feeling right now. I keep looking down at my phone hoping to get a text or phone call from you like you have been doing from the
first time we met. No matter what time morning, noon, or anytime at night I could expect a call from you we would have long conversation about just any and everything.
I can hear your voice now calling me “City Slick” or you are a “Demon”. And I would call you my “Country Bumpkin”or a “Spawn From the Devil” (our jokes for each other) I miss hearing your voice and your laughter and boy some of the stories you use to tell me made me crack up with laughter and sometimes bring tears to my eyes. We had a very special bond.Sometimes we were like oil and water and couldn’t get along.
But we both understood each other and that was very special. When I came down to visit you for the first time you taught me things about Alabama that I didn’t know. The music museum. You introduced me to foods that I never in my life thought that I would have tried. (Mexican)You taught me about wines (Mascotto) and liquors (Gentleman Jack).lol
And when you came to New York for the first time you were very excited. I took you on your first subway ride the look on your face was like a little kid in a toy store we went to Time Square, Madame Tussaud’s wax museum,Coney Island Nathans famous hot dog restaurant in Brooklyn we even went to the movies I even took you to the casino where you won and I lost. We went to different restaurants and you couldn’t believe all the food that they had served us you was grinning from ear to ear no one could wipe that smile from your face. But the biggest thrill you got was when we went on the crab feast trip in Maryland you had the time of your life just to see you on the dance floor dancing that was so funny I still look at the videos. Up until the time you got sick we talked about all the things we did and how much fun you had.
I introduced you to my children and grandchildren and all my friends who embraced you with open arms they treated you like they had known you for years and you were surprised that they accepted you. Up until now they were asking about you. That is the impression you left on them. They were so sad to hear of your transition they were looking forward to you coming to New York to live they wanted you to light up the barbecue again.(those ribs and hamburgers were the talk of the town). I miss you so,so much my heart is very heavy and now there’s and empty space there without you. I’m so sorry I wasn’t able to be there for your transition but I know you are in a better place now and not in anymore pain Every time l look at your picture I will always have a smile on my face and remember your laughter and the sunshine you brought into my life thank you for the special memories we made together.

Good bye my love until we meet again re
    Rest In Peace

    Regina
