Mary Sue Vickers, age 76, of Muscle Shoals, passed away May 28, 2022. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Sam Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery, Muscle Shoals.
Mrs. Vickers was preceded in death by her children, Sammy Ray Vickers and Pamela Sue McAnally, and her parents, John and Virginia Hamm.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Melvin Vickers; son, Lynn Vickers (Christy); grandchildren, Brandon, Stephanie, Justin, Ashley, and Preston; 9 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Jerry Hamm (Pam), Randy Hamm (Brenda), Mikey Hamm (Cheryl), Greg Hamm (Teresa), and Troy Hamm (Belinda); and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Vickers was a member of East Colbert Baptist Church. She centered her life on caring for her family. She loved to garden, cook, and clean, but her greatest joy was in spending time with family. They all agree that she was the best wife, mother and grandmother ever!

We are so sorry to hear about Sue. She was a sweet lady that never met a stranger. From the first time i met her she treated me like she knew me all my life. She will be greatly missed. God be with her family .
