Jackie Lee “Jack” Sharp, age 75, of Waterloo, AL, passed away July 11, 2022.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 14, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home of Florence.  The service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Cooper officiating.  Interment will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Waterloo.

Mr. Sharp was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; parents Roy and Artie Sharp and sisters, Louise McCoy, Dorothy Vinson, and Roxanne Barrett.

Survivors include his son, Robert Sharp; daughter, Angie Spears (Bud); grandchildren, Robyn Sharp, Autumn Sharp, Timothy Sharp, Chasity McMillan, Caleb Holloway, Davy Holloway, and Hannah Holloway; great-grandchildren, Zaden Sharp, Gabriella McMillan and Serenity McMillan; sisters, LouDean Shilling, Paulette Duboise and Tamera Barrett; and brother, Shannon Sharp.

Mr. Sharp was a veteran of the US Army.

He was a lifelong lover, learner, and teacher of God’s Word. He enjoyed creating and sharing hundreds of hours of Bible studies, evangelizing all over the North American continent, singing hymns, and sharing his great talent for playing a variety of instruments.

Mr. Sharp will be greatly missed by his family and all the many lives his ministry touched.

He is surely leading the Angel choir.

  2. Jack – Our entire family loved visiting with you every year when we were in town for Decoration Day. We always had a such a good time coming to your church and singing while you and dad played music. You will be missed dearly. So glad we just saw you in June. Condolences to the family.
