Elizabeth Ann “Penny” Sharp, age 74, of Waterloo, passed away November 1, 2022. A graveside service will be held Thursday, November 3, at 1:00 p.m. at Wright Cemetery in Waterloo. She was the wife of Donnie Sharp; mother of Jennifer Burcham; and grandmother of Levi Burcham.

My deepest condolences to all who loved her especially Donnie, Jennifer and Levi. Penny was my first friend when I moved to Florence in 1966. We had so much h fun and wonderful memories together. She was a talented hairdresser. I was her model when she got her state license. It just breaks my heat that she couldn’t get better. Even though we lost touch over the bast 50 plus years, we reconnected and I’m thankful for our recent conversations. I loved her and I will miss her. Rest in peace my friend.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family now & in the days ahead. Your lives have been forever changed with the loss of one so dear to you. May you find comfort in knowing others care & share in your sorrow. I have fond memories of Penny running the store for years, popping popcorn & slicing cheese for my dad, who has left us as well. She always had a smile when I saw her. My mom is in bad health & in the hospital now, so I was unable to attend the graveside service. Please know I will be remembering you all in my prayers.
