Martha Ann Dodd Holt, age 88, of Florence, passed away March 10, 2023, at Mitchell Hollingsworth. She was born July 21, 1934 to the late Leslie and Blanch Dodd. She was a Christian and a member of Bethel Berry Church of Christ.
Mrs. Holt was preceded in death by her husband Billy Holt; daughter, Shirley Chaney; sisters, Christine Trousdale and Freda Jones; brother, Joe Dodd; and son-in-law, Mike Roberts.
Survivors include her son, Jerry Holt (Donna); daughters, Judy Stutts (Steve) and Patsy Roberts; son-in-law, Edward Chaney, brother, Bobby Dodd (Daisy); and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, who loved her dearly.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, March 12, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Cypress Inn, TN, Williams Funeral Home is directing.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Mitchell Hollingsworth and Shoals Hospice for their wonderful care, especially Station 4 nurses and staff. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.

My sister Denise Holland said to tell you she is so sorry for your loss. She would always speak to her when she passed her room. She would always ask Denise if it was bed time and Denise would tell her it was for her but not for Denise. She said she will miss her smile and good nature. My God be with you all during this time.
