Alexander Chase Balentine, age 29, of Greensboro, Al. formerly of Florence, passed away August 15, 2023. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 20th at 12:00-1:00pm at Williams Funeral Home. A graveside service will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery following visitation.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Raymond and Bettie Word Raney, and Cleo and Linnie Balentine; uncle, Joshua Balentine.
Survivors are mother Rebecca Balentine and Step father David Thomas; sister, Samantha Thomas; grandparents, Jerry and Betty Balentine; aunt, Lori Quillen (Joshua); cousins, Caleb and Micah Quillen .
Chase was a born-again Christian who had a heart of fire for the Lord. He was eager to share with everyone the difference Christ made in his life. In this time of deep sorrow, our hearts rejoice that Chase has been called home to be with the Lord and gain his reward.

Chase was like another brother to me. Him and my brother were childhood best friends and neighbors and share a lot of fun memories with him. He’s going to be missed ❤️
