Bonita Wright Thompson Hamilton, age 62, of Florence, passed away September 29, 2018.

Bonita was a nurse for over 30 years, working at ECM Hospital and J. W. Sommers Rehab Center. She was totally dedicated to the nursing profession and helping others any way she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. & Anne Wright and brother-in-law, Albert Allen. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her daughters, Kayla Thompson and Kristy Thompson Carter (Adam); grandchildren, Daymian Kirkman, Destini Thompson, and Aiden Carter; sisters, Barbara Allen and Brenda Holder (Jack), and special friend, Michael Jarvis.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednesday, October 3, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Gary Gooch officiating. Burial will be at Greenview Cemetery.
