Jauren,
Though your time with us was far too brief, your spirit touched our hearts in many ways. Your laughter, kindness, and heart will forever be cherished in our memories.
As we remember you, we celebrate the joy you brought to our lives. You will always be our shining star and my little cousin, reminding us to embrace every moment with love and joy.
With all my love,
Estella Armstead and Family
Jarri never met a stranger. He was a friend and a helping hand to anyone he met, and he always put other people ahead of himself. He would give the shirt off his back—because that was simply who he was: generous, kind, and full of heart.
He fought hard through serious illness at such a young age—far too young. Even so, I take comfort knowing Jarri knew God and is now in a better place. Jarri, you will be forever loved and forever missed. Rest easy, BIG lil-bro. 🕊️❤️
Jarri,
I’m still trying to find the words. I’ve known you since the day you were born. When your mother, Antonia (Toni), was still a teenager, she came into our home, and Miss Stella raised her from those early teen years all the way through high school and through the completion of college. Miss Stella helped Toni every step of the way—and she helped raise your older brother Jasmine from the day he was born. Miss Stella truly raised us all as brothers and sisters.
So none of us are surprised that from the very first day you fell ill, Miss Stella spent countless hours caring for you when you couldn’t care for yourself—showing up, spending cold nights on uncomfortable hospital chairs, hand-feeding you, and loving you through it all. Miss Stella was closer to you than anyone now living.
Please keep Miss Stella in your prayers. Jarri, you were a son to her. She is deeply grieving you, now enduring the loss of a second son—both taken far too young.
JAUREN was my favorite cousin. I will miss him calling me early every morning and us just laughing on the phone or me going to visit him. He was such a kind hearted or loving person. Gone but never forgotten. Love you Jauren.
Love,
Cassidy Shelton
